About Us
Guided by Presence
Horses reveal what we miss in the rush of daily life.
Their quiet honesty helps you see yourself with clarity and confidence.
To those who are not familiar with equine led coaching it’s quite a hard thing to grasp.
Equine led coaching is a form of experiential learning. Instead of sitting in a room (or online) talking you will be outdoors in a field or arena with your human coach and the horses(s) as co-coaches.
The work is all done on the ground, and there is no riding involved.
You explore how you lead, connect and communicate, not through words but through your energy, presence and actions.
Horses respond to the energy you bring, the coach notices what the horses are doing, checks in with how you are and supports you to make the connections between the horses feedback and what you’re experiencing.
Caryl Roberts, Founder
Wilf, CEO
I’m Caryl, founder of Change Dynamics and a professional coach with over 25 years’ experience supporting leaders and teams across industries worldwide.
I spent the first part of my career inside large organisations, leading teams and navigating the realities of corporate life.In 2008, I founded my own coaching and consultancy practice so I could focus on supporting people to find the clarity, confidence and capacity to thrive at work and in life.
I’m accredited with the International Coaching Federation (PCC) and a Senior Practitioner with the EMCC, and I’ve coached senior leaders across sectors including energy, finance, retail, education and the arts. My work centres on creating reflective, supportive spaces where people can explore new perspectives and make sustainable change.
Over time, I realised that many of the challenges leaders face stem from hidden dynamics, patterns of relationship, loyalty and belonging that quietly shape behaviour. This led me to train in Systemic Coaching with Coaching Constellations and deepened my interest in the wider systems we all operate within.
That journey brought me back to my lifelong love of horses. Horses offer powerful, honest feedback that helps people access deeper self-awareness. I began integrating horses into my coaching in 2021 and completed training with The HERD Institute in Equine Facilitated Learning in 2022.
My horse Wilf continues to act as my guide – constantly challenging me to grow, stay open and learn from mistakes. Working alongside him and the herd has added depth and vitality to my practice, allowing people to learn in a grounded and embodied way.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when people feel a sense of connection and belonging, they flourish – and organisations do too.
Alison Lincoln
Alison holds a degree in equine sports coaching and spent several years lecturing on equine science programmes in colleges across the UK, supporting riders, coaches, and students at different stages of their development. With a lifelong fascination for how horses and humans learn together, she was commissioned to write Equine Sports Coaching in 2008, followed by Be Your Own Equine Sports Coach, which explores the mindset, habits, and practical strategies that help people not only perform well, but perform at their best consistently over time.
Today, her approach integrates the science of training with a deep commitment to wellbeing — recognising that confidence, awareness, and emotional regulation matter just as much as technical skill. This led her into Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL), where experiential sessions with horses help individuals and groups reflect on their behaviour, communication, and relationships. Working in partnership with horses, EFL explores themes such as staying present, building trust, navigating consent and boundaries, connection, resilience, and healthier ways of functioning with others.
The Value of Equine Led Coaching
Pause and Reflect
Equine-led coaching offers rare space to step back from the noise – to think clearly about what matters, what’s working, and what needs to change. It’s focused time to reconnect with your purpose, choices and next steps.
Grow as a Leader or Person
People come to coaching when they want to lead with more confidence, improve relationships, navigate change or rediscover motivation. A coach acts as a thinking partner, helping you see patterns more clearly and make conscious, intentional decisions.
Why Horses?
Horses add a powerful experiential dimension. Their instant, honest feedback reveals how your presence, energy and intention shape your impact. Working with the herd helps you see yourself more clearly, feel the effect of your communication, and practise leading and connecting in a living system. It’s not about the horse’s behaviour, but what that behaviour reflects back to you.
The Impact
Clients often describe equine-led coaching as grounding, revealing and transformative. The insight is felt rather than simply understood, and it tends to stay with people – shaping how they lead, relate and make choices long after the session ends.
Who It’s For
This approach benefits leaders, teams, people in transition, and anyone curious about how they influence and are influenced by others. It’s especially powerful for those who prefer learning through experience rather than conversation alone.
